Why I run
Volunteering with Edible Schoolyard brought me a community I didn't know I needed — and reminded me that every kid in NYC deserves to know where their food comes from. Running 26.2 miles for them, through the city I've called home since 2018, feels like the best kind of full circle: a thank-you to New York City, and a way to provide a head start for the kids who grow up here.
